Battleford Youth Soccer Inc.

Objectives:

To provide, develop and govern the game of soccer in the Battlefords.

To promote good health and physical fitness in youth.

To maintain and increase interest in the game of soccer.

To promote fun and fair play for all.

What BYSI offers:

* BYSI provides the fun of soccer indoor and outdoor/ recreational and

developmental.

The indoor season runs once per week (October–March).

The outdoor season runs twice a week (May-June).

Recreational soccer is played year round for players ranging from Little Kickers

(3-4 yr. olds) to U18 the main focus being on fun, fitness, fair play and player

development in a co-ed team structure.

Developmental soccer while promoting fun, fitness and fair play developmental

soccer also offers a more competitive and advanced development of players.

The teams are structured male/female teams and represent the Battlefords in youth

provincial competitions as well as play within the rec. league. At present

developmental soccer is offered for U12-U18 age groups.

** Developmental soccer is only offered in the outdoor season unless otherwise posted**

New Trial For BYSI!!

Recreational and Competitive (House Teams) / Developmental (Travel Teams)

This season we will offer our Regular Recreation league AND include for ages U10 and up

the opportunity to play Competitive soccer. This change is to enhance and broaden our

Developmental program, while allowing players to play strictly in the league and/or further

their commitment to travel as part of the Developmental teams.

*U10 will be Recreational only, due to low Competitive interest in this age group.
